Tasya Grushasch

A lost dove on a path to rebuild what was stolen,
time and time again.

Rule 001.

  • 18+ writers only

I will only write with players 18+, with a preference to those 21+ as I tend to hint at mature themes.

Rule 002.

  • No bigotry or Hate

I do not tolerate any racism, homophobia, transphobia, ableism, or bigotry of any kind. If these themes are apart of your plot, please let me know ahead of time.

Rule 003.

  • Lorebending Welcome

Tasya is a very lore bending character (since SE only gave us so much Bozja lore), as such I welcome other lore benders. With that being said, if you're toeing the line towards breaking I would prefer to know.

Rule 004.

  • OOC =/= IC

We support woman's wrongs here but only in media. In character interactions are not indicative of OOC interactions.

Rule 005.

  • No God-Modding

I'm all for spur of the moment interactions, but as roleplaying is a collaborative activity if something is going to greatly affect my character, I deserve to know.

Rule 006.

  • Be respectful

I type very slow and second-guess the spelling of every word. Please have some patience!

BIOGRAPHY    Like so many queens before her, Tasya was born into luxury; and with that came a spoiled childhood. Her mother's lineage had cemented her family in the upper crust of the Bozja Citadel, despite her father's slightly lower standing as a humble jeweler. She was doted on incessantly by her parents; constantly slipped sweets by members of her house; praised for being a brilliant future queen for community— all should have been well; if not for the looming cloud of Garlean Occupation.
It was her father who suggested they flee; a risky gamble to protect his queen and young daughter. Her mother was hesitant to leave so much behind but agreed on one condition, they would help as many as they could. With refugees in their care, House Agrusha traded the marshes of Bozja for the deserts of Ul'dah, a difficult adjustment but one they would weather together as a newfound family. Life became easy in Ul'dah, between her father's new luxury trading company, The Dove's Rest, and wealthy family back home, money was never an issue. The house flourished; together they were happy, but life never remains so carefree forever.
When Tasya was just twelve summers old, while her mother was aboard visiting family, the Citadel was destroyed — so many of her loved ones, gone in an instant. Bereft of his queen, her father threw himself into a frivolous hobbies and habits; anything he could to stave off the grief. While their coffers ran low, Tasya did all she could to pick up the pieces of her broken house.
Finery was pawned; hands were dirtied, she would sooner sell her pride if it meant keeping the lights on. If not for those still left in the house who still believed in her, she may have lost her way. It was for their stake, and her mother's memory, that she still held her head high. Her perseverance was rewarded in time — with the early death of her father, and complete control of the business.
Under new management the Dove's Rest was able to return to some prestige. Between planning to its influences outside Aldenard, and financing up and coming businesses within, Tasya always has her eye on a new prize.

  • Khannrael Geisswyn

  • Friend

  •   Carrd pending

What started as a friendship of convenience between daughters of servant and master has since blossomed into genuine friendship. The secrets whispered amongst the two have not been heard by any other.
Still in the lives of Ul'danans, business is never far. Tasya has poured a considerable amount of money into Khan's hotel, making it one of the Dove's Rest subsidiaries and perpetuating the power imbalance between them.

  • Navaluk Tswarra

  • Seneschal

  •   NPC

Navaluk was an orphaned child the Amatrona family picked up from Dalmasca, raised surprisingly close to Tasya. They quickly became childhood friends as the years went on, and he stayed in service to the family even into adulthood along with likeminded individuals like Tahsin.
With his surprising intellect for an apparent street urchin, he assists his mistress with all manner of duties pertaining to both the business and household.

  • Tahsin Atasya

  • Seneschal

  •   NPC

Tahsin was another orphaned child taken in by the family, with a much tougher exterior and sour outlook than his peers. His softer side when dealing with Tasya gained him an upbringing in her inner circle, where remains to this day with Navaluk.
With his shadowed charisma and quick wit, he acts as the Dove's Nest's head of "public relations", silencing any who oppose his mistress with both words and fist.

  • Zoya Aradmila

  • Lady-in-Waiting

  •   NPC

Zoya was once a princess of House Aradmila, a neighboring commune and close ally of the Agrushas' back in Bozja. As such she was another childhood friend of Tasya, although a bully would be a better description. Despite being destined to be a queen in her own right, Zoya never enjoyed being a leader, choosing instead to join the Bozjan resistance out of defiance where she was later discharged in disgrace.
With nowhere else to go, Zoya found herself on Tasya's doorstep, swearing fealty to the woman she always felt an attachment to.

Memories in Crystal

  • Rare.

  • Ask first.

Tasya did not fund the Bozjan Resistance just for the freedom of her people, she also sought knowledge of the fabled Queen's blades. With the assistance of a former smith of Rowena, Tasya has begun experimenting to create blades of her own design and is always looking for tests subjects worthy of her creations.
